I am getting ready to lease a 3.6 Q7 Premium, which, of course, does not have a DVD option. The dealer has informed me that they can have one put in, with monitors in the two front headrests (they swap out the stock headrests)and 2-disc playing capability for $2,700. I was wondering if anybody has done this, so I could see how it worked out. Or if anyone has any other options that they think are preferable. Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.

I had what you described done to my Q7. I like it. It looks good if done right. One thing you should know- After I had mine installed did I find out from my Audi dealership that my electronic portion of my warranty is void because it was tied in to the electrical system. And it doesnt matter whether the Audi dealership OR another install shop does it- it still cancels the electrocnic part of the warranty. Thats what they told me. I would check with your dealership to see what they tell you before you decide to do it.
