Dear,

Since a few months I've every now and then a noise which I can best describe as an electrical transfo hissing and purring beneath my dashboard on the driver side.

When the airco is turned off ; the noise remains.
When the start-stop system is activated at a stop and the engine goes into "hibernation" the sound remains.
When the engine is turned off the noise is gone;

If it was always there it would be easier to diagnose, but unfortunately it comes and goes.

Audi shop cannot find/locate it. For a cellphone recording it's not noticeable... it's minor but annoying.

Anyone an idea how to find it and even better fix it?
