Default MMI went Dark

Does anyone have a quick suggestion to get a MMI back up and running. Got in my Q7 today and got a blank screen, no radio, no back up camera and none of the control buttons on th console would activate anything. I am led to believe that there are many modules that make up the MMI and if one is bad then the system is not going to work. Are there common potential areas that I should be looking at?

Thanks in advance for any hints.Doug

I guess you could say I wrinkled my nose and clicked my heels and it came back on its own

But I suspect if I am going keep this Q7 I may have to consider a fully new unit. Getting updates for the maps and navigation is an exercise in futility and stupid expensive money. I have been looking at considering a new head unit that is linked to Android Auto.

Does not seem to be much happening on this forum with that.
