Default "safe" message on radio

Hey everyone,
The other day i was eating lunch in my TT, when i was done i tried to turn the car on but it kept stalling... on the 3rd atempt it finally started but it was shaking... so i turned it off... i deactivated my alarm(thinking maybe it activated as i was eating) then atempted to turn on the car again and it started up just fine...and has been running fine ever since....but now the radio doesnt play or do anything... it just say "safe"... it also says "safe" on the screen behind the steering wheel.... anybody have any idea what this means? how do i get my radio working again?? thanks

check your documentation you should have a 4 digit code to restore the radio if not its the dealer or get the code wiped by an aftermarket company
