As far as I can tell, the previous owner put the whole rally racing design on the car with vinyl decals then "ghosted" it. It's an interesting raised effect - but personally think they sprayed too much - it's hardly noticable. Most peeps think the paints faded because the decals were removed.

When I buy my new TDI TT I'm going to do the same

^ there's somethin about the stock fat fives on the TT... im not sure, but i think ilike the look of the stock fat six's alot better.

I have an extra set of sixes too.. I have to deal with winter though so I'm keeping mine. Trying to talk myself into painting them black.
