Default 01 225 Trunk Space

I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me the diagonal of the trunk space in a 01 225 TT. Same question with the rear (seats) folded down. I want to know if a snowboard or two would fit back there (Dont worry I'll line it first so I dont sog and rot it all out) Much obliged

I've fit snowboards in my car before, usually slide them up so the nose is between the front seat and the door.

You can buy the removable ski rack (that's what those 4 screw holes under those covers on your roof is for) and you won't have to worry about dirtying up your interior, mate

If you could send me some link, thatd be great, only thing I saw (not that Ive looked hard yet :-P ) is that like $1400 audi accessories rack that goes over the trunk hatch. Being able to throw the board(s) up there would be great, as being able to tote the boards/bike. is the only real issue holding me back about the 01 225 wuattro tt over an 04 wrx wagon.

Unfortunately they are not made any longer. But they are frequently found on Ebay. Try searching for "Audi TT roof rack"

Fair enough, is something like this liable to be cheesy? Thule typically makes some decent suff, this looks like it just hooks into the space between the window and the door, Im not sure how thatd work with the windows moving up and down when you open/close the door.

I've not tried one personally, but there are a few that have. You might search on Audiworld and here to see if there are any comments about the Thule.
