Vehicle starts and wants to run at high high RPM. The wiring harness was torn up at the knock sensor plug(supplying sensor behind oil filter housing). I have three wires green, yellow, and black(stripped and ready to connect) The senor however, stripped back from its plug has only red and white. Can anyone help me determine which wires go where? I have looked repeatedly at the wiring diagrams provided on this site by link, and I am still confused. Thanks in advance to anyone able to help, Jeff

The engine was running fine, but when I tried to have the codes pulled at a local auto parts store, it kept indicating a short which was shutting the code reader off. As a result, I am back trying to solder and insulate a better connection, as this is the only wiring which was ever bad on the harness.
