My 225 does have lag. I'm not trying to be a smartass or anything... I mean, I love my car. When I get on the throttle though, it lags a little. Damn... you're starting to make me think my 225 is just broken or something. :-/ Is this something that's unique to my car?
My TT is the only one I've ever driven... hell, maybe it is just MY car. -kicks dirt-

Im sure your can is fine. I just think that a car that has almost instantanious boost repsonce as having any sort of lag problems. If you want even faster spool get your chip and mbc and the responce will be even greater.

Trust me its not just your car, I dont want to make it sound like im telling you what to do but practice launching at little higher rpms. I had the same problem and had to find a sweet spot between sliping the flywheel and not killing it or making it lagg. There is a sweet spot that you just have to find. Now that I have the new clutch it grabs hard and im off its so nice.

Call me a retard thats fine and im glad that you think your Mustang is so fast thats great. Most of the TT owners that you see are not interesed in 1/4 mile times but rather Auto X, streetrace, hell daily driving in all different types of weather. I am glad that you can run with a 40K dollar car. Congrats I hope you feel good. But to come on here ask for advice and then call us all retards you have gotten something backwards that is for sure. I dont know where you come from but trust me us VAG guys and girls are different that is for sure... Dont worry about getting a TT you will make the rest of us Audi owners look bad. Someone said it earlier go buy a Hyundai.....no wait those are too nice for you I tthink, if I were you I would buya KIA!!

I would like to thank all the newbies that dont act like this guy and are open to suggestions and dont have that MUSCLEHEAD attitude you are truly what makes VAG drivers special.

hmm... okay I feel like an idiot. What does VAG stand for? I'm pretty sure of the meaning from the context it's always used in ... but the acronym still eludes me.

....so speed really isn't a concern for me.
The funniest part of all of this is this particular statement the idiot made in his first post.

So why do you care so much...just exactly what are you compensating for?

How does the AWD cpmpare to the FWD in snow and other conditions where good traction is needed?

better. although you ultimately need traction at the road (ie ice is ice, and good tires always help) awd is better than fwd for rough conditions, if you need it. if your two front wheels have no traction, you arent going anywhere, with haldex system awd, some power is transferred to the rear wheels accordingly. obviously people got around in bad conditions before awd, but having had both (and living in vt) I would never ever get 2wd drive, unless I also had an awd vehicle. I dont like crappy conditions dictate when and where I go, and I love driving through twisty roads, awd with esp (quattro) definitely imparts safety anad confidence in both those situations. Plus, who doeesnt like a four-four whell burn-out.

Obviously its better. Common sense would dictate this. DUH.

And your question would have been better answered in a thread of its own.
