Default 03 Roadster Central Locking / Control Module

Hey all, been lurking for a while, finally had something stump me to the point I need you impressively smart gents' help. My 03 TT Roadster's keyless entry recently crapped out, ironically right after a trip to the stealership to have a leak fixed (nice way to spend a grand, ugh... ). Anyway, I thought they needed batteries, to be reprogrammed, etc, but to no avail, I finally had to take it back in. The service manager assures me that they finally figured out that the central locking / anti-theft module's antenna fried because it got wet and subsequently moldy once after a heavy rainstorm and then a leak. The keys still work, and everything works as normal, just no keyless entry. They want nearly $800 to fix it, and I'll be damned at this point if they're going to get it!

Can someone pretty please tell me where the module is located and where the cheapest place to buy one would be? Also is it possible to replace just the antenna portion?

Thank you guys x 1,000,000 in advance.

I bought my control module from them..

I have no idea about your roadster, as i have a 2000 coupe.

But my control module is in the trunk, and on the drivers side rear card.

It is behind the little courtesy light if you have one.

You might have to disassemble the car first... BW is really good about the part number...

You can just tell them which car you have and what not, and they will hook you up.

On the roadster the control module and antenna are behind the convertible top shelf in trunk behind the passenger seat. I had the same issue with my remotes not working. After removing the trim in the trunk I noticed that my antenna is not connected. I am now trying to figure out how to reach it.

Which year roadster do you have? Can you explain what you actually removed to get to the antenna, did you find it and did that solve the remote locking problem?
My local Audi dealer says there is not separate antenna, that it's part of the control module.

If you haven't already, you'll likely need to have the rubber seal around the back of the roof replaced as that's where the water gets in to fry to the control unit. I went through two of them before they figured this out at the dealer. Another great design by the bright minds at Audi.
