I recently purchased a 08 3.2 Q TT. This is my 6th Audi and I love this car in many ways. One area that has been bothering me is a loud "tat..tat..tat" on hard acceleration. This sound overcomes the raspy exhast note. i have questioned both sales and service at the dealer and they tell me this is a normal sound from this model. I have had them test drive it and they have inspected the car. I am curious if others have noticed this and if you have any feedback that you can offer. Thank you.

 

You may have better luck finding answers for this model on another forum perhaps AW. Not too many people own the MKII here, maybe just a small handful. Most of us are MKI owners.
