I'm also in the market for a new TT here is what I"ve learned

Topgear a UK car TV show has said the 2.0L turbo feels a lot more sporty then the 3.2 V6
So if your going for pure driving fun the turbo is the way to go.
If you want to mod the car and make more power the turbo is also the way to go.

But if your not wanting to do anything do it and want good torqueand you want quattro go V6

You can't get the 2.0L turbo in a manual tranny till 09 and it's a front wheel drive.

If you want Quattro you have to go V6.
V6 comes in Auto and Manual

If you don't mind Auto you can pick up a front wheel drive turbo or quattro V6 right now.
kind of comes down to personal taste.

The S and RS look awesome but i'm guessing the sticker price will be high.

there really aren't any mods for either (2.0 or 3.2) yet, at least i haven't seen any. i do like the quattro, so i guess i'm leaning toward the 3.2.

have you seen anything in the aftermarket realm? intake, exhaust, chip, etc? can't really mess with the suspension if igo the magnetic as an option.

There are mods out there for the 2.0L turbo FWD TT's
Its got the same motor as the new GTI so you can use the GTI intake and what not.
