Nice run. Snow tires are softer than most summer tires btw. That would of helped some also.

You know I didn't know what to think of that run. Most of the other driver's in gti's w/ software were running 14.5, and here I am in the big bad tt 225 and i run a 14.8. Most of the guys in my club are like,"it the snow tires", but I was thinking; it's just all the added weight the tt has over the fwd gti's vs awd. I might go back this weekend and have another go. This time I will be running stock rims (fat fives) w/: revo, apr tip, forge splitter, and race n75. One thing i don't understand about that n75 is b4 the tip i was running peak 24psi, now after apr tip i don't go above 20, just some thing to think about. 203hp/ 267ft lbs on the dyno w/ just revo. just two wheels!

a 1/4 mile run with a quattro TT the tires don't mean anything.

it's not like you'relosing traction either way...

I have to disagree chris, though the traction may not seem like its slipping, you still get far batter grip withlower et's on softer and stickier tires.

14.5 is rather slow for a chipped gti. Must be heavy/taller wheels or just a chip. Should be closer to 14 flat withthe basics (chip, turboback, etc)
