Default 1.8T MAF Help Please -PIC

Hi guys, I went to clean my MAF today on my 1.8t tt and here is what I saw. It looks like there is two connections and a wire should be connecting them. I have no experience with MAF's so any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks guys!

From what I have learned, both the 180 and 225hp do not have thermisters on the MAF's. Please confirm

You might just need a new MAF.. How many miles on it?

110k, there is no CEL or fault codes, I just took it out to clean it while re-charging K&N (which will foul it I am sure).

if there is no codes, bad performance or the esp light on the cluster... think you can fill in the rest

I still have the airbox off and have not started car yet, I was just making sure that the MAF sensor did not have a thermister that could have fallen off during removal. At the time, it really looked like there was one originally on there, but since I have learned otherwise.

There is several versions in the maf, reason you cant just slap any 1.8t maf sensor on any car
