Default 10K into my TT

OK here's the story. I am wanting to drop about 10k into my tt when I get back from the desert. Dont ask me why I guess because I have nothing better to do with it and I sure as hell am not gona buy my wife clothes. LOL. I am wanting to do the forged pistons and rods, a GT28RS turbo, high flow exhaust(downpipe back), the modshack upgrades, GIAC flash(4 programs), FMIC, injectors, hyperboost adj DV, BBm peformance clutch kit (stage 3), better oil cooler with royal purple oil all around, and all the new piping and little goodies that I'm going to need inorder to pull this upgrade off. Also I want to get some lighter wheels and better tires then I have right now. I plan on puttin on slotted and cross drilled rotors all around with upgraded pads for some extra stopping power. I would like to run about 12 flat or faster in the quarter. Is this possible with the upgrades that I have planned? I have heard of a tt that is boosting 28psi and a 50shot and is running 12.4. Thanks for the info will keep everone updated on my mods as they come along.

If you are going to put in 10K and have it all saved up I would take it to a really good tuning shop and tell them to do whats best and have it all done at the same time. This will save some money in the long run. The new turbo will require a big turbo program and Im not sure if GIAC does one for the turbo you said. Good luck.

Thanks for the info I talked to the dealer that is going to do my GIAC and he said that I can tell the company what I all have done and he e-mail the info to the programer and he will write me my own program. Now he has done alot of porshes but I dunno about audis I think mine will be the second one he has done. Yes I am going to get it all done at the same time, anyone know of a bigger or better turbo program. Will apr work because I know they have one for their stage 3 turbo kit. Thanks

i would def look into apr since they write better programs anyway. i heard unitronic was good but i dont know personally. i would say 12 is a big possibility with the mods you listed. if you upgrade the internals i would say a 50 shot of nitrous would put somewhere in the high 11s

if you want to run a 12 flat or better, this is what you need to do...

GT2871r turbo, big turbo tuning
FMIC with samco silicone hoses
samco inlet pipe
full exhaust(downpipe back) prob the apr 3"
Modshack stage 1 thru 3
fuel pump
injectors
vf engineering motor mounts
drag radials
any weight reduction possible
maybe some sway bars to help hold the power to the ground
anyone help if im missing anything?

getting into the 10's maybe....
bore increase
stroke increase
port and polish

or you could just buy an engine swap from hpamotorsport, they make a twin turbo conversion with the vr6 engine

Set this car up for the RR because that is where it will shine, especially if you can put $10k into this car. Focus on the wheels, tires, and suspension and then go with a nice turbo kit. You won't need forged internals if you have a 225TT and I would think 350hp is achievable on the stock 8.9:1 CR. If you want a 10sec 1/4 mile car, then use the $10k to buy yourself an early 90's DSM and all the parts to make it a 10sec car You may even have some money left over, lol. Good luck, whichever route you take.
