Myself I would just save your money and buy the 180hp model and spend the extra 3grand on mods to make it faster than the 225hp

If you go look in the 2001 range of TT's you can get a 225Hp car for about the same or very little
more than the 180Hp verions. Personally, there is no contest. In my book I would never consider
the 180HP version no matter how many mods. I rather start with a 225 and Mod it. Either car will
respond well to mods. But IMHO the 225 wins it hands down

180 is also 5spd where the 225 is 6speed but my new faveriote is the 3.2TT with paddle shift and launch control [sm=happy046.gif]

Good Point! I love my 6 Speed but wouldn't mind trying the 3.2 with those paddle shifters. Kinda like Nascar Racing
If I had the bucks I would've gone that way. But I am pretty happy with my 225 HP. Handles like a dream!!!

225 for sure. Then, save your money a little longer, and that engine will respond much better to modifications. Faster than any K03 equipped 1.8 mod for mod.
