Default 2.7 in a TT

Would it be possible to put the 2.7 Twin Turbo from the S4/A6*~y2k* into a TT??*First TT/Old Chassis*

Ooooo, that would be a machine. I've owned a B5 S4 and that's a beast of an engine with just a chip and intake 317hp.

stick with the 1.8 unless you have someone who has some major skills and you have the cash to dish out. it'll cost you more than 6k in the swap.

2.7t ftl, go 2.8 vr6 with turbo!! easy conversion also.

pricey though. the vr6's don't flow very well, and parts for them are more expensive.

it'd be cheaper to build the 1.8t to a 2.0t and put a larger turbo on it (and you'd probably get more power too pending on the size of the turbo)

vr's will flow more than a 1.8t any day. also parts and cost of engines have come down a lot. any vr6 from 02 and up is a plug and play conversion.
