hey guys im new to this forum and a new audi owner.. i just bought this audi.. and i have a airconditioner problem.. the heater works but when u want cold it just blows lukewarm air.. i have charged it with freon... and then i took some lines of trying to blow out any clog.. then re charged with freon using all audi spec stuff... still no cold air.. any advice?? thx.. philip

 

Sounds like what happened to me. Turned out my compressor died. You can find some cheap used ones on vwvortex.com in the MKIV classifieds.

You should be able to take it to a shop and they will test the system for free or cheap (mine was free).Im pretty sure if it has freon, the compressor has to be bad
