Default 2001 TT Quattro - Rear O2 sensor replacement

I have a 2001 TT Roadster AMU engine and need to replace the downstream, post cat,
oxygen sensor. My VIN is 8N-1-1100 so it is post 8N-1-010101

I unknowingly purchased the Bosch universal which would have had me replace the plug on my
car. I did not want to do that so I returned it.

It comes to pass that I cannot find an oxygen sensor with the correct plug.
Mine is orange, square on one side rounded on the other, like the new ones, except
that on the square side there is a little tang. The new ones do not have the tang.
Also mine is not as deep as the new ones.

If I must use the universal one how hard is it to pull out the connectors from the original
one and put them in the new one?

Help is always appreciated.
