Default 2002 TT225Q Coupe Ready for Upgrades

Can anyone advise me on replacing my stockrotors and calipers, with a higher performance braking system? My TT is stock (50,000 miles) and owned since new. I'm interested in Brembos and perhaps shocks and springs as well as exhaust and air intake systems.

I live in Westchester County, NY and would also be interested inhearing about local (NY/CT/NJ)Audi tuners.

Thanks in advance.

For starters, read the FAQ and BT and high performance.

As for brakes, i would just go with some Wilwoods. You can get plain face 2 peice rotors with 4 piston calipers for ~$800 and drilled and slotted 2 peice rotors for under $1k. These rotors are about 5lbs+ lighter than a brembo setup per rotor. Not to mention they will be cool to the touch within 5min where as the brembo single peice rotor that will take well over 20mins.

Not to mention you can sell the stock front brakes for $200+ and regain some of your money.

Thanks for the reply cincyTT. I'll check out the FAQ and research what BT means and where to find high performance. Sorry for being a bit dumb.

Your Wilwood suggest sounds interesting.
