Hmmmm...Any thoughts on causes of a glove box not releasing (seems to release on the left, but not the right)...yes it is unlocked. I've fiddled with it for 30 minutes and can't get it to open. Happened once before, but pushed it closed and it opened right up the next time. Any thoughts on cause/solution? Anyone know how it all goes together in case I have to take anything apart? Would appreciate realistic suggestions that don't involve explosives, bats, pry bars, etc.

 

there is a problem with the hinge so you have to remove the side cover from the dash and push the tap in so the box drops open

 

there is a how-to to fix it floating around on audiworld, but do be carful with the handle because it will break off

 

Thanks! ...I'll give it a try in the morning. I noted that the handle did not feel overly sturdy...so I'll be gentle.

 

My handle is broke off because of this reason once I got it open i used a piece of wire to make sure the right side pin doesnt lock it into place again
