2003 TT Luggage Rack
About six months ago I purchased an Audi 2003 TT Roadster. It came with a dealer installed rear deck luggage rack. I did not like the look of the rack, it interfered with the clean lines of the car. I removed the rack. Then I noticed a brake light warninf on the dash message. This was caused by the thrid break light being disconnected. Somehow in order to install the luggage rack, and use the rack built-in light, the dealer disconnected the top rear deck brake light.
I have not been able to determine how to fix this problem correctly. In the mean time I wired a light to the loose wires inside the trunk. While the light inside the trunk comes on when I apply the brakes, I don't see it and the dash message is gone. It is OK as temporary message, however I must fix this problem correctly. I would like to get the top rear deck brake light back.
Any suggestions?
