Default 2008 2.0T or the 3.2L

hello, im new to the audi world cause my family has always driven mercs.

but i have made a break through and have convinced them to purchase a new TT for me. so now im debating which model would be more fun and also

more beneficial. the 2.0 T gives it the ability to be modded a little more readily in the future, but the AWD feature on the 3.2L is also a large deciding factor.

turbo cars are easy to upgrade. The 3.2 cost alot more to mod and is limited in power without going turbo/supercharged

2.0 all the way. Costs less, faster with chip, AWD is nice if you live in a place that needs it if not dont really need to spend extra $$$ for it. Better resale than 3.2.

yea thats the thing. i live in ohio and the winters are pertty bad and thats the only reason i even considered the 3.2L. if it did not snow here the 2.0T would be my choice no doubt.

Im sure you want a new TT, but have you considered a gently used 225? AWD and a turbo, the only thing your giving up is the mkII looks and be new. Just thought i throw that out there.

If you're going to lease a new one, wait till next year. I hear there is a 2.0 turbo, awd, manual coming out. THats just the word on the streets

yea i looked into the 225 and i think they are great, but its just something about the new look that isnt allowing me to settle for the old body. yea i would def. wait for the TT next year but i need a car for this winter cause im driving a slk 350 right now and once it gets cold i put it into storage and my little sister has claimed that my 4matic is hers. so i prolly need another car in the next few months.

Next year models should arrive before the first snow fall. So i say wait for aslong as possible or go to Audi's usa site or dealer and see what info they can give you on the next years models and arrival times.
