the only real cosmetic difference besides the grill is the headlights. work wit the headlights first, then the rest will fall into place.

Default Hi

Hi
I just ordered the fender and rad support from the dealership.
im glad there is other people out there trying to do the same thing.
I own a body shop 220auto.com and I worked on VW for over 10 years.
I just bought a wrecked 00 tt and since I had to replace everything I decided to try. I went to dealership and measured the rad sup fenders etc...
Not goin to be an easy task since rad support is 3 inch short on each side. I will have to make my own extension . I just hope it fits on the frame .
Will find out in few days when it gets in Ill keep you guys posted.
I figure I can make a rear end of 300zx make it inot 98 supra . Chevy cady conv. etc...

Funny thing parts are cheaper for a 09 than 99 wow
I also tryed to get front clip for the RS model but found out there is none is USA. lol

Oh yes a wicked paint job nice rims and some mods on engine to start .

Aloha from sunny Hawaii

hmm,... grave digging, huh?

Anyway, the new front end isn't as striking in my opinion,... somebody do a full interior conversion and we'll talk

I'll stick with my 'design' for my next TT:

^I think I'll add the Rieger R-Frame rear bumper extension

(without that boot spoiler) - I want to either find or make my own *slightly* extended version of the 3.2 wing with the black rubber trim. Will tie the looks of the car up nicely, I think. Also, the vent areas on that bumper will either be dremeled out and replaced with mesh, or painted a matte black.

Tails will also be black, although I'd like to find a *good*, affordable taillight with a clear lens that I can pull apart in order to paint the plastic housing inside (like the headlights).

Racer X: you car looks sick! I love it!

I want to do a large grill in thr front like a rieger, but I can't find anyone in the USA who knows about this kit and sells them.

Any ideas?

Thanks, I'll make a build thread when I take the next TT-plunge (and immediately begin paint, body & interior!)

I am stilling looking into the best option for were I should get the kit from. I want it to fit well and be a good quality part. So far I have looked at two that were junk.

I'm thinking of doing this, but is fiberglass good?.. they told me plastic is much better.
