I'm about to buy an 09 TT 2.0t. Does anyone know of cost effecient ways to increase say,75 hp from the turbo? Or any other suggestions for a HP bump would be welcome.

Chip reflash would get you real close to an additional 75hp. I'd look into unitronic, apr, revo or giac to see what exactly they can do for you. Intake/exhaust are usually next up on the list. Audi generally designs around noise suppression over power. Air boxes are full of baffles that end up restricting air flow, and likewise with the muffler.

 

Get the chip and a TBE and you should be around 260+ HP and 300+ TQ. Exhausts are more expensive for this model than others so be prepared to pay. Now I know that the down pipe for the TT is the same as the A4/GTI but the just the hangers are different. The A4/GTI DP is $300 cheaper in most cases. Also a better flowing filter would be good. I am doing 0 60 in 5.5 secs with these mods.
