Default 225 dp question

Im considering getting a 42dd dp soon for my 225. I think I remember people talking about a rattling issue that is fixed by a dogbone mount kit? Is this correct? How come on esc site it recommends....
****Kit comes with three bushings we recommend you only use the two larger rear mounts & not the smaller diameter front mount that mounts to the transmission**** ?

Thanks

Yes, you are correct.

The outer 2 are enough for 95% of the people using the inserts. The 3rd one makes it way stiffer and only really needed if you autox or have a crap load of power

cool thanks.

How hard of an install is this? Pretty easy / straight forward or do you have to get a ton of crap out of the way to get to it?

The dp is pretty straight forward, you need to cut the stock one out to remove it (that is unless you want to drop the subframe). The dogbone is a very simple install, unbolt, swap bushings, rebolt

Keep in mind alot of us that have this downpipe...the rattling was from the pipe section , 2nd section, coming loose...not because of the need for a dogbone kit.

hmm i had to space both of my o2 sensors out the one before downpipe and the one before the catconverter it was wierd, because it would throw a code if i didn't. So now i still use a spacer before the downpipe and i switched back to a highflow cat and felt like i got better response on my throttle from the added back preasure.

You shouldnt be running a spacer for the first o2, its reading the a/f and if you space it, you are effecting the readings.
