Default 225 Stock manifold question

Hi guys,

This may be a stupid question but the FAQ and search was unable to provide me a definitive answer.

I am in the process of buying a used 225 manifold for my 2005 225QC engine code BEA
It is very likely that the mani is from an older model TT and thus from a different engine code.

My question is, are manifolds interchangeable between engine code / years ?
thanks guys,

SenC.

Yes, they are interchangeable. The only thing you my have to deal with is having 1 more or less nipple for vaccum. Nothing major

note that the 180 manifold has the throttle body on the opposite side from the 225 manifold.

minor details...

haha, yeah thanks achttung, I am aware of the 225-180 differences.
It is in fact a 225 mani I am buying, so no worries then.
thank you very, much....maybe add this info to the FAQ somewhere?

Not sure what you want. That the manifolds are interchangeable between all engine codes with the only difference being: TB location and vac nipples underneith.
