Yeah... that's the big turn off for me with a lot of the aftermarket body stuff. Fiberglass doesn't cut it in the real world where bumpers bump things. I hate cracked gel-coats.

It's just that I want either of those bumpers, but I'm can't find anyone but the tt shop that sells it. I don't wanna buy something from over seas wait 2 weeks and I get a damaged bumper I just paid 1,100 for.

www.lltek.comhas a lot of body kits for the TT. They will also paint it to match your factory paint based on your VIN.

Is the paint included in the price?

no they have paint codes on each item... and a paint legend that shows you the price... ie Paint code "FF" on a bumper... when you look up the code... "FF" means $116 or something like that. I think the highest priced paint code is $599 but that's for huge pieces. I think bumpers and grills are around $200-$300. Still around what you'd pay at a body shop I believe, and it'll show up already done.

I rather have it test fitted first and then painted by a body shop. This way you have it fitting right and not messing up the paint when trying to fit it. Also if you have a body shop paint it, the colors will be matched/blended together so they actuallymatch.

this is very true. If your car is aged then the paint will be aged. You'll get a much better match at a body shop
