Anyone had their V6 remapped? Whadja think?

I'm not 100% sure, but a remapped or chipped V6 should have almost no hp gains. Besides advanceing the timing, there isn't much more they could change (unless you had some serious aftermarket parts maybe).

It's not like the 1.8's, where the boost can simply be cranked up.

 

It's still good for 15 hp and 20 tq.

Hi, my Father has a 3.2 with a GIAC chip, the new programing removes some of the hesitation or lag from the acceleration. When combined with other mods it is definitely noticed.

 

I think it will drop off your speed limiter and might bump the rev limiter also.

Don't quote me on that though.

I wonder if just some lemmi tuning you could see simular gains with a 3.2. Just lean it out a tiny bit and make it free flowing.
