Well here it goes, I am looking at 2 different TT with the 3.2 in them. One is an 04 with 38000 miles and the other is an 05 with 32000 miles on it. What I am looking for here is information on the 3.2, you know problems that they have. What I should be looking for? Both cars are very clean and have lots of paperwork for oil changes and such. I just can't seem to find much infor on the motor.

 

There arent to many people running around on here with a 3.2. But they are much more reliable than the 1.8t's. Vwvortex and audiworld have more 3.2 users. It lost alot of intrest with most being only available with dsg.

 

Well this a start, I have heard about the 3.2 but the new ones were outside what I wanted to spend, so the 3.2 is a reliable motor that the type of information that I am looking for. I did drive and 08 with DSG it was fun, but I seem to like the older model a little better.

 

I got a 2005 with the 3.2 and DSG. Only problem I have had is the airbag light. Had to have the "spring" replaced but it was under warranty so no biggie. Things I love about the V6 is the sound of the engine. You can do a couple of free mods to it that really bring out the sound of the motor. Go to the Audi TT Uk forum for tons of stuff on the V6. They are quite popular over in England and the forum guys are really friendly and helpful.
