i opened the kit up. inside the dv itself is a green spring. then in the kit theres clamps, 2 spacers, a yellow spring and a green spring too. which grene spring do i use?

they are the same spring. Just install the dv as is

rule of thumb,

yellow spring is for chipped

So you put the two spacers at the bottom and the spring on top? What is the difference/ so special between the yellow spring and the green plus two spacers?

Let's try it this way: 2 Spacers, Green Spring, Screw on Top. No Yellow Spring.

THe green + spacers is still softer than the yellow by itself. You want the softest spring that can hold the pressure and for most people, the green + shims can do that.
