Should just unscrew right out of the line. Not sure if it has a check valve on it so you might need a recharge after it's removed/need to be careful not to freeze your hand and get R134 everywhere when you remove it.
Most places will charge your A/C for like $40 so that wouldn't cost much and the install is simple so I'd say like no more than $150 total.
