Default Aftermarket Blow-off 1.8T, How Hard

I'm new on here owned my 2002 TT Quattro for about 2-hours and wanna start on it already. Always had V-Dubs and now breaking into the Audi scene.

I would like to purchase a blow-off valve and do it myself, but don't really know what to buy or how difficult it is to complete. Any ideas???

there is not really much to "do yourself". just buy the valve you want and install it in place of the stock one.

i was looking at doing that valve where it acts as both.

is this what I need to remove and replace with a new one?

yes, that is the stock valve. If you want a bov, forge004, if you want both, forge splitter (can vent/recir or just recir, cant just vent) Both are available at ecstuning.com under intakes.

Just go to youtube and type in forge 004 or forge splitter and listen to the sound clips....it will sound very similar to those...

Great thanks soo much for your help. I think i like the Forge splitter. I'm worried about tripping and coding on the ecu if I just go with a BOV

so with the forged splitter there is absolutly no tripping or coding on the ecu?
