The ir Bag light is always on in my 02 audi tt roadster q does this mean there is a problem its on from when i turn the key to when the key is off...not flashing but solid??

 

im unsure, but i too have the same problem! Ive been meaning to ask this for a while now.

 

I would guess its a sensor. Mine comes on when its below 25 degrees outside and the car is cold.

 

Scan with VAG com and get the codes, this will tell you which sensor is having problems. You might also check the wiring harness connectors under the passenger and driver seats, the plugs have been known to work themselves loose.
