RE: Air Bag Lites
My cluster air bag light comes on ONLY when the car and weather is cold outside and goes off when the car warms up. I've been tring to get an answer for it fora while without any luck. I think the switch may be dirty.

I've read it could be a dirty switch in the glove box, and to clean it with electrical cleaner.
I've also read about a vag-com fix. I'm sure the answers are out there. If not on this forum, then on others.

Its gotta be an electrical resistance problem, its not too high on my priority list, but if/when i get to it, im gonna start at the crash sensors under the hood, and check connections working back to the cluster. If you do anything with it, make sure you disconnect the battery a good 30 minutes before you do anything, it doesn't take much of a voltage change to trip an airbag.

Have you tried to clean the switch yet?
I might bring it to the dealer to have them check it out before my warranty expires in a year. My warranty deductible is $200 tho... not sure if its worth it.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one.
