I have a Neuspeed Air intake, and i love it. If you want i can E-mail you a pic of it.
Perfect fit and comes out to be cleanest. NO DRILLing on your car or messy set up.

Yeah looking at the Injen one it looks like the filter would sit either right behind or right on top of the second intercooler. Im not much help as I have only upgraded my filter itself to the K&N. Everything else is stock. However, I am not condoning this and as far as I know I am the only to have done this......no its not dyno proven its only my ramblings but it feels like it made an improvement, and it does involve cutting on your ride but.

I removed the filter box and there is some small duct work that grabs the air from the inbetween the inner wheel well cover and the engine bay. Its kind of like a plastic scoop and not very big. However it is thick enough plastic that the opening can be made bigger. So with a dremmel tool I increased the opening I was able to almost double the opening side when I was done. The second thing is that there is no place for the air to escape that doesnt make it into the new larger intake scoop. It is now trapped inbetween that plastic wheel well cover and the engine compartment which is producing all kinds of heat. So naturally you are going to get some air "back up" in that area, and due to its location next to the engine bay the air temp is going to increase. So you are now haveing to deal with warm air going into the engine. SO....I removed my left front wheel and made a mark about the 10 o'clock position on the wheel well cover to use as a guide. Then I removed the cover from the vehicle. Using razor blades and a lot of elbow grease I begain cutting. [:@] I made a whole in the cover (around the mark I had made earlier) approximately 4 inches by 4 inches. I then used two sheets of screen and to cover the whole, super glue to bond the screen to the cover. Let it sit and re-installed. After some power runs and normal driving the car FEELS smoother and the throttle response FEELS better. Like I said before this has NOT been tested this is based souly on my own OPINION.

If you like that let me know and I will tell you how I modified my front end, (internally, it does change the look of the ride) so that I get more air over the intercoolers.

That would be cool, the price is the only thing stopping me from doing anything to my car. I recently bought all the field equipment from a paintball field that went out of business, so ALOT of my money is going towards getting my own field started. Leaves very little for the car.
