air intake challenge
I have a......
2k1 vert feed cocker, tons of shocktech upgrades, and a dye swing triggerframe
classic automag, copper plated, with a lvl. 10 bolt
Airstar Nova 700
PGI Mayhem (S/N 106)
Crossman 3357 .50 cal pistol (from 1988)
Splatmaster Rapide w/ 'comp upgrades' (rear stock, pistol foregrip, 7oz CO2 conversion, 40 round clip) (from 1987)
2K3 Murder Inc. BKO with PDS (S/N 0023)
Brass Eagle Rainmaker with automag foregrip, Angel gripframe
CCM Phantom pump
Line SI Bushmaster pump (from 1985)
Working on a completely custom autococker, right now its basically a block of aluminum with some holes in it.
I'm a collector of sorts, I usually pick up older guns, or guns that had a short production run, and there aren't many in circulation.
Oh, and after buying the field equipment, I have roughly 30 rental Pirahnas. : )

I got the TTDA from Modshack and it works good, a closed box with a cone K&N filter inside and 2 tubings that go down by the front grill so it gets colder air and the box helps keep the hot air away. I also got their **** (bigger MAF) and that really stopped the lag I had in 1st gear when it would pickup good then quickly backoff then pickup again. Now it just picksup. Just waiting for my GT2X to get here.
For those running the Modshack with the two neoprene hoses, is the product good quality? I like the design of the box and overall engineering and function, but are the "hoses" good quality and look ok inside the engine bay? Kinda looked tacky to me at first glance, but wanted to get some user opinions. Thanks.

The 2 feeds are good quality and they can be placed down low close to the front grill to get cooler air and if you have a fmic then there is a setup for that too. The kit looks ok but the purpose is more to keep cooler air folwing in. I guess you could always find some other type oftubing on your own if you want to match colors and really make it look good. Me, I just wanted to keep hot air out.
dude the modshack airbox freakin ROCKS!!!! i love it very quick install! 10minutes with the mini breather and 2 special aircraft hoses it freakin sounds awesome with the forge 007 diverter valve too. very very high quality stuff!!! i'm willing to bet money that its better than the BMC carbon airbox which i was gonna get before i heard about the modshack box
So you guys think the modshack airbox is better then the BMC TT Carbon Dynamic Airbox (TTCDA)? Does anyone on here even have the BMC TT Carbon Dynamic Airbox (TTCDA)? Will you be able to notice a difference after putting either of these intakes on?
