I am trying to buy brake pads for my 2001 audi TT quattro 225 hp AWD. The website is asking what my engine code is and gives me the options of AMU or AWP. How do I know? or where do I look to find this? I am in the U.S.A. thanks (I searched these codes and nothing popped up)

 

It will be in the trunk next to the spare there is a sticker with your paint code and your engine code. Or under the hood by the valve cover to the left it is stamped on.

yup Amulet Red. It's funny I don't really like red cars but I like red TT's more than most of the other colours.

 

white tt's are the fastest though lol

 

Haha I thought silver was the fastest colour. White is a better colour than red.

 

denim blue is the fastest and most reliable.

 

I couldn't find a denim blue 225 AWD TT Quattro when I was looking to buy. Denim blue is by far the coolest color, but amulet red is a close 2nd. I'm not sure what color is the most reliable or the fastest. I guess it depends whose driving, but i think red has a special wind breaker coat to decrease drag...lol
