When my car is turned on I am able to turn my highbeams on even when the headlights aren't on. Most cars I've driven this can't be done so when you push the turn signal stalk forward nothing happens. In my TT they turn on.. stupid feature. Just as dumb as the headlights turning off when the car is off but not the parking lights! [:@]

 

I like this feature! It allows me to flash cars without have to turn my headlights on... I thunk it twas clever. *shrugs*

Every newer car i have ever drove has it. It's how how you warn an on coming car of a cop.

 

Nooo you're missing my point. If you push the turn signal stalkFORWARD they STAY ON. If you pull the turn signal stalk backwards it flashes..

All cars have the highbeam flash feature.

 

All my german cars have done that. - its also common to half to pull the door handles twice on a german car to unlock them once and to open them on the second time.


Germans got skills.

 

being able to turn your highbeams on and have them stay onwhen your headlights are off is pointless.

 

Then don't use it...

I wont. and just a FYI its more fun to drop your pants rather than using your high beams when flashing other motorists. the look on their face is priceless.
