Default Another diy

A couple of days ago i managed to make my own vent ring to mount my boost gauge. All i did was first take a piece of plastic, i know this sounds ghetto but it works, I used the lid from a "I cant believe its not butter" and cut it to the size of the inside of the vent. then with a xacto knife cut out the size of the boost gauge without trim ring. Then i used the pressure from the back clip of the boost gauge to hold it tight. It looks perfect after i sprayed a few coats of black spray paint on the Butter lid. Also behind the butter lid i added another layer of plastic and superglued the two pieces together to make it a stiff piece. Im not sure if you guys want pictures. It was a cheap creation that actually looks good.

I'd like to see a picture . . . I'll be installing a boost gauge and need some ideas for mounting.

Thanks
