Mazda has a brace like that for the Miata. The aftermarket vendors also sell kits that do this. It's a good fix that helps cut down body flex, but on a coupe like the TT it's value is questionable.

ok, rear bars are made, ive got five round galvanized steel prototypes ready to go, 3 gloss black and three gloss red, plus ive got five rear seat pannels ready to go. finaly figured out how to get almost a perfect match to the dark grey carpet. the bar threads into place for a very very tight fit and tons of strength. will post pics late tonight after the paint drys on the bars. these are all prototypes btw. email me at chopttarga@yahoo.com if interested in doing some "R&D"
