I have a small coolant leak somewhere. Until I get the time to run it down, I need to add a little anti-freeze to the system. Audi says I have to use their special brand ($27 for a gallon). Any body know whether this is true?

VERY true. Do not use anything other than the pink Pentosin G12.

 

My dealer said that if in an emergency you can run the Prestone that states on the bottle that it is compatable with any vehicle. Its a yellow jug. (if that helps) Anyway he said that would be fine for a quick fix, however you need to get it to a shop fairly quickly afterwards so the system can be flushed and the fluid replaced.
