Any TT owners in Dallas?
Hey all,
I just picked up a TT coupe 6spd quattro. I'm also new to the Dallas area. Any TT owners in/around Dallas or N. Dallas?
Would love to greet and meet.
Thanks,
Lateef

Where are you in Dallas? I live east of Dallas and I have found the best without a doubt Audi mechanic.
Example: I had a timing belt failure at 83700 miles (actually, it was the tensioner that failed and the belt jumped). I was referred to a shop in North Dallas and had the work done for about $3800. In the meantime, a friend who lives near me told me of a mechanic much closer who had a lot of experience with German cars. Along the way, he did some oil changes and installed a new a/c compressor for me. When it came time for a new timing belt, he did the job for $375 including spark plugs and some vacuum lines that had cracks. In Dallas, I had been quoted $750 to $1000, plus plugs, etc. When the job was done, he told me he didn't want to run down a competitor but he was pretty sure I was still running the original timing belt, meaning the first shop just put the old belt back on! He said the belt was about to break!
