Default apparently my turbo is just for sound, cuz i cant feel it. :-)

Diode / MBC / Shroom Intake / 180TTQC.

drove the car yesterday, everything was semi-peachy (I've been backfiring until the car warms up if i drive it too hard for like a month now). today it was raining and well, i couldnt feel my turbo kick in at all and it sounds like I am suck in air ALL the time. (DV issue? how do you troubleshoot that?)

I am boosting to ~10-12 psi (yesterday it was holding to 14psi and then kicking in - butt dyno said so.). like you you press on the gas, the boost goes to 12 and you're sitting there waiting for the rpms to shoot up, and the turbo to let loose and you're just sitting there waiting for the turbo... until you **** aft 6k. lol.

I do know that if I open my MBC ALL the way up, the most I boost to is 15psi. I read about some of you guys hitting 20PSI - am I doing something wrong? lol. It also sounded like the car was backfiring or something. honestly, it sounded like my car was choking... like lots of little backfires or something. Its raining, but i figure i'll dig in there tomorrow and look for some funky hoses or something. i popped the hood at the gas station and didn't really see anything out of place.

some day... im going to have no issues with my car...

what mbc? sounds like the turbosmart rip off that beay sells for like $10 that doesnt work a lick on our cars. You could also have a large exhaust leak and the turbo is making XXpsi above what the psi is set for and killing power and making the timing retard.

Post mbc and check for an exhaust leak pre turbo

i have a turboxs hpbc and a forge 007p.

sometimes after 4.5k my boost will kick in and sometimes my car feels like it is hesitating, the boost wont kick in it'll putter / misfire (flashing CEL), and i'll need to just shift to the next gear.

if I am at lower RPM's and the card is cold when i let off the gas, I get a noticable pop / backfire, but no flashing CEL.

I'll keep an eye out for a pre turbo exhaust leak.
