Default APR Cat-back and PSS9's installed

Got my car back from the shop yesterday morning with the APR cat-back and PSS9s installed.I also had the TB kitdone. GRD in Villa Park, Il did the work and they were great to work with. They had done my ECU flash a while back.

Wheels and tires are next and then I'll be saving for the stage 3+.

Now I just gotta dig up my radio code- the exhaust sounds good, but I need some tunes.

Sounds like a nice car you're putting together there. Congrats on your mods.

Thanks. I just gotta make sure to hide the receipts and nab the credit card bill before the wife sees it.

If you don't mind disassembling your own dash vent (its easy) you can buy the AWE gauge kit for the A3 and save $100. The only difference between the gauges is the center of the needle is black as opposed to silver. You will need a dremel or die grinder to reduce the circumference of the A3 mounting ring about 1mm to fit the TT vent as well.

Thanks guys. Saving $100 bucks is almost, but not quite, 2 tanks of gas, so definately worth a little extra work. I do own a dremel.

As for the dp, I looked at that when I did the cat-back, but am thinking I will go with the APR stage+ kit in a few months, which has one that comes with it, so I am holding off for now. Plans could change though.

Future plans include the stage 3+ kit, brakes, possibly w/m injection and then I may do some cosmetic stuff.

But the biggest improvement may come in a couple of weeks. My wife was going to get me a NASCAR driving experience for our anniversary, but I'm heading over to the Chicago Audi club site right now to try to register for their driving school later this month at Blackhawk Farms instead. Its cheaper and who wants to go fast in a circle anyway.
