not yet, i am also waiting on it to get restocked. I want it because i can use a smaller exhaust and get less noise when cruisin. Also it will last longer than a electrical one since the electronics cant handle the heat. I believe it is suppose to open at 5psi so you will only hear it hard acceleration. You can also add a mbc and raise the point when it opens (but i dont know why you really would).

There are a handful of people that use them on vortex and swear buy it. So i think this will be on my car by the end of summer.

So where would you put it if you had the 42 draft designs downpipe? Im guessing after the cat and the last 02 sensor. It looks cool, but what about backpressure? I guess you still have enough because it opens at 5psi. I may have to end up getting one of these, boy was that GTI loud.

YES! someone found it again.
I've been looking for this thing for a long time.
I want to leave my exhaust stock but still have huge exhuast flow at high RPM's
I'll be adding this to parts list.

you would put it in front of your cat for better results. Just add a spacer to the o2 sensor to help eliminate a CEL and also revo and some other chips have CEL defeat written in there programs for the o2 sensor already.

I believe you would get a little more torque due to the smaller exhaust before the turbo spools and when the ves opens it acts like a 3"+ exhaust. Remember that gas takes the path of least resistance, so when the ves opens the exhaust will mainly go out the cutout and some will still go out the exhuast (but under far less pressure).

I just reread your statement, The ves is attach into your vacuum system (like mbc, boost guage, etc) to open your ves. Thats why it uses a wastegate actuator like a turbo, its machanical and will take exhaust temps better than a electronic on and it will open and close when you need it to instead of just open and close.

Spacer to the 02 sensor? Im not familiar with that. And I have Giac programming so I really dont feel like going out and paying for another such as Revo. I may just put it behind, maybe get the race pipe cat delete with my downpipe, instead of the high flow cat that comes with it.

you dont need to buy a new chip. I know some hoave it built in but im not sure which. But install one of these into your donepipe and then the o2 into the spacer.

Rather than electronic, it uses boost pressure to operate.
