Default Audi emblem removal

Is there a way to remove the audi ring emblem from the frontgrill so I can paint it?

I used Testors Model Paint (Flat Black and some Clear Coats.) It chips pretty frequently (lots of highway miles) and I use a touch up paint, bought from auto store, that matches the body paint and applys via a small brush like fingernail paint to fill in the chips. Its now mostly the touchup paint.

People have had luck with Plasti-Dip (think thats right) but its more of a flat black look.

if you use the kyrlon spray it should bond better. It is what i have on my wheels and it has more than held up.

if you sand it the paint has more to grab on to. you can primer it if you wish, but i think if you use the krylon spray you really dont need to.

I got the rings off my front grill pretty easily... It just popped off with a slotted screw-driver and a little effort. Painting should be a breeze after removal. Just give it a quick buff with some fine-grit sandpaper and do a few light spray coats... and BOOM! New look.

or you can use a grey scoch bright scuff pad and some Bull Dog Plastic Adhenison Promoter then your paint over that Always gotta sand .. its gotta have something to grab. The rings pull right off with a small flat head screwdriver :-)
