Quick question.


Since Audi now makes Lambo's.... doesn't that mean my local Audi dealership should be able to take on a lambo for repairs?

good question and why shouldn't they after all its just another engine but the biggest problem is the electronics ( lambo have their own diagnostics ) and that's where the problem is

Probably not.

I'd imagine the risk of taking on such an expensive car isn't worth the profit. I'd bet there are insurance and liability requirements too.

 

I own one lolscale model cant get in any more

How similar are the Gallardo and the Audi R8?

A new Gallardo is around 200k. - when a new R8 is $109k

....They appear to be quite similar...just with a different name.

Can someone help me understand the price difference?

 

The main difference is in the engine (5L V10 @ 500hp vs. 4.2l V8 @420 hp)
The other big thing is the insane amount of technology in the R8.
Magnetic suspension, more advanced Awd system,..

Plus the R8 just looks more bad@$$...

 

So the R8 is better/made by the same company, but because of the name is basically half the cost?
