the 99 Mustang has the newer 4.6L in it if i remember right. I think it can 99 through 04 body style right?

if thats the case it's a 260HP motor vs the 225HP Audi.

I've been wondering the same thing so i did some checking. It looks like it comes down to a drivers race.
the Audi is lighter way better traction and the 6 speed does a better job of getting the power to the tires

The mustang through has a lot more HP and torque.

For modding the mustang will always be fast just because it's a V8. It doesn't take very deep pockets to get a GT up to the 350HP mark.

This is what i look at it. Mustang is a straight line machine
Audi TT is a monster in the corners and audi cross style running.

I owned a 2004 Mustang GT, before i baught my 225tt , my GT had full bolt ons, long tube headers , X pipe , etc.

The GT is a very mod unfriendly car, any non idiot GT owner will tell you this. I baught the 225tt because i know when i put the same amount of money into my TT as i did my GT my TT will be much quicker, its already more fun to dirve, and style of course.

They are both excellent cars to own, but very different and depends on what style of car you are into, personally, im at a time where this car is perfect for me.
