Default Audi TT Coupe Headrest

Hi, I have a 2000 Audi TT coupe. The headrest on the passenger side is stuck in the up position. I tried pushing in the side button and pushing down
on the headrest. Does anyone know how to repair/remove the headrest?
Thanks

Unfortunately there is no known fix for it. The release assembly inside the headrest consists of a plastic rod that can break. You'll probably have to get them replaced.

I know this may sound stupid, but make sure you press that button all the way in.

Sometimes on mine I push in, then I push much harder and it goes in more... then they go down.

I saw on someones Fokti that they took out a pin and some other stuff and then were able to completely lower both headrests and lock, however I dont have a link to it guys sorry, but I know it can be done.

I believe that was for the Roadster headrest.
