Audi TT... fog lights?
Believe you can tweak the switch w/o replacing to get the fogs to turn off if you need them to. I'd have to do some looking to remember how. Mine do the same, I always have them on anyway, so I haven't worried about it. I was actually thinking of rewiring my headlights and fogs to be on when ever the car was running, so I could quit screwing with the switch. Only 2 times I can think that you wouldn't want your lights on are driving across the lot at a drive-in theatre (which I don't do to often), and stalking someone. How often that happens is none of your concern.... ; )
yeah, im not a big fan either.
I did figure out how to fix my switch though. There are 4 tabs that hold the front and back halves of the switch assembly together, one of them had popped loose. With the rear half of the switch out of alignment with the front, the contact for the fogs never opened. I had to drop the dash, push a little locking pin back into position, and then squeeze the switch together so the tab snapped in place.

You do realize that the k isnt brightness but color? 6000k is more blue than white, 8000k is very blue, and 12000k is purple.
clipse, go to ecs and get some PIAA yellow bulbs for the fogs and they will be more useful.
